What the biggest audio system that anyone has installed in their 480.

Standard front speakers, 2 X V40 rear boot speakers, and a lil Sony Xplode Sub. Nolt special but it sounds well in a lil tin box of the 480 lol

i got standard front paper cones (looking to upgrade in near future), 2 6x9s 450w RMS, 800w fli amp and a 1200w pioneer champion sub...o how the car shakes

ooo, and i custom made the sub box...the boot is sooo shallow!

i dont have at the mo...not as an insallation in the car anyway, (i got some pics of the sub box tho

) i will be posting some up hopefully next weekend (if u can wait that long

) i made a custom parcel shelf and the trimming is proper mint in leather effect PVC (so it doesnt fade) i am chuffed on the whole. it was for a college project and i said i would put a post up when it was done so i will get on with it and post it all at the weekend!

i have a jvc head unit running throughan oldskool alpine graph
this graph powers a jbl amp for the front jbl 5.25" speakers
a vibe amp for the rear 6" kenwoods
and a kenwood 800 watt amp for the 2x12" rockford fosgate subwoofers

sounds good out side but can get a tad too much on the inside

your photobucket isn't setup for public access. You need to set it up for public access and then just post the link, just as text and we can copy in straight in to our browsers

the account is the one i sent u last night the stereo for the 480 is in a sub album called shoalin swift gti
theres a few others in the other album along with some of my old motors

hopefully we can get these pics uploaded tonight

cheers mate as you can see the amp in the footwell gets covered over with an alloy kick plate

required the removal of the foam to allow me to screw it direct to bulk head
( stops the mrs treading all over it as the original cover got cracked in this way

)

the boot install now needs a tidy up as in those pics it looks scruffy and i must re-fit the amp thats been squeezed down the side of the sub box
the graph is in the perfect place in the glove box ( stops mrs turning the bass vutton off

)

should sound good. For improved sounds though mate i would remove the 2 ways up front and put the in the rear and fit components up front. 1" tweeter will fit the stock tweeter position.

Should look good to once you have got round to finding all the wires and stuff which is easy said than done in a 480
