noobie help!

Here you can post things about ICE (In Car Entertainment). Like how to install GPS navigation, a DVD-player and other yuppie-stuff. This category might be moved to "those other things" in the end...

Hi & welcome to the forum.

If you go to the 'How To' section, i done a thread on 'Door Card Removal'. The speakers are fixed in with screws from the front, but you need to take the door card off completely to get them out. They're 13cm speakers too. You can just use the standard wiring thats there for the standard speakers, but i upgraded mine. If you do upgrade it, you'll have to feed the wire through the rubber tube that goes from the door to the body, and it is quite tight, then up to the headunit.

Hope that helps!

... oh ... and to add to that ... the cabling goes to the door speaker and then piggy backed to the tweeter beside the interior door handle, so if you replace the speaker, it's worth bearing that in mind.
