Rear Speakers Required

I have a 480 Turbo H reg and a friend has the J reg GLS model.

I dont have speakers in the rear door panels instead i have a panel with the same patterened trim as the seats without speakers, but my friend has two speakers and the sound of the stereo is much improved by having these.

Is it possible to put speakers into the door frame of my car?

If so, would the speaker grills from a GLS model fit?

There is no such model as a GLS 480 but you can retro-fit rear speakers to the rear door-cards on a 480.
You will need the mounting plates however and these sometime crop up on ebay now and again. I'm not sure if Volvo still sell them?
