Can i connect a CD player AND keep my tape player...?

Here you can post things about ICE (In Car Entertainment). Like how to install GPS navigation, a DVD-player and other yuppie-stuff. This category might be moved to "those other things" in the end...

Can i connect a CD player AND keep my tape player...?

Post by esta » Sun May 06, 2007 2:11 pm

Hi all!

I was wondering if there was anyway i could connect my old car CD player to my 480 without having to take out my tape player, as i still use the cassette player and i like having the original stereo in it.

But i also would like to play CDs and i still have my old ES's CD player so is there anyway they can be linked together? That way i wouldn't have to go and buy some CD multichanger thingy...

Any ideas...Thanks :D

There are a number of mechanical devices which increase sexual arousal, particularly in women. Chief among these is the Volvo 480 ;)

If you have a portable cd/mp3/md player, you can easily combine it with the original cassette radio, using a cassette adaptor.

Just an idea :)

Several Volvo 480 Radio/Cassette players have a CD-Changer interface, like the CR905 for example. Just noticed the radios-page on the clubs website is broken, will try to fix it this weekend, lists what radios have that interface.

Just fixed the radios page, a list of most known 480 radios can be found here:

You need to be logged in on the clubs website to view the list.
