I have just bought some JBL comonent speakers for the back. Now then, I am open to suggestions as to a 'hidden' tweeter location.
I have seen the post from kev with the similar speakers, this looks cool but i dont want to be cutting at my speaker pods...
Any suggestions?

tweeters ...
they reproduce the really high frequencies of the human hearing range and unlike the low bass (which have long wavelenths), the high frequencies are very easily absorbed by normal surroundings and so reflections of the high friequencies is minimal ... so the tweeters are very directional in the their output and so low down in car door pockets they are more often than not absorbed (probably by the carpet, seats, legs and clothing).
This is why you often see tweeters higher up and even some times in the dash. So ideally what your looking for when positioning your tweeters is 'line-of-sight' for your ears to the tweeter!
I hope that helps?

.
I have Alpine component tweeters through a cross over.
On the dash corners, look good but far too loud.
I also tried Velcro'd onto the rear seat belt socks!Sounded ok but still too much!
I settled for under the dash by where the footwell lights can fit.Sorted!
