Sony Multi-changer wiring.....

Here you can post things about ICE (In Car Entertainment). Like how to install GPS navigation, a DVD-player and other yuppie-stuff. This category might be moved to "those other things" in the end...

Sony Multi-changer wiring.....

Post by Azimuth » Sat Jul 08, 2006 10:10 pm

Can anyone tell me what each pin is on the Sony CDX-T62 multichanger. It has a 'Unilink' connector ( which I think is a 16 pin DIN). I think the uni-link cable is a standard across sony changers.
Or failing that, does anyone know where I can get a free Service manual for it. ( I have searched Google but couldn't see anything.)

Kind Regards
Steve

Are you sure that it is a CDX - T62 ? As this appears to be a now discontinued Australian model, if not have a look here for various sony manuals etc.

Yes, Definatley a CDX-T62. Got it free from freecycle, along with a phillips (Toyota) head unit.

But the head unit is CD Changer compatible, but has a different set of connections hence needing to know what each pin on the plug is for.

You could always try emailing Sony, explaining your situation and asking them for help. Global support site is here.
