Little 6x9 Job

Here you can post things about ICE (In Car Entertainment). Like how to install GPS navigation, a DVD-player and other yuppie-stuff. This category might be moved to "those other things" in the end...

Well I’ve wanted to do this for a while but just haven’t had the time too, so this was done over a few days.

I've just done a shelf to hold in my band-pass. I haven't covered it yet, but I'm using the rainbow trim off the nessy's seats. At last I've found a use for my spare seats!

I just bought some leather off the roll from the market and stapled it in place. It was a right bastard on the corners

A little trick for the corners in the future : heat the leather a little around the corners, it wil fit more easely. Ive done some more complicated leather works and it always went well ,

but nevertheless : nice job :hopping:

My mistake, I did mean a year younger (94). Always get that one mixed up, car being a year later but being younger rather than earlier!? Too early in the morning for me....

That leather looks good though however old she is though ;)

excellent stuff!! I've still got a spare ikea kitchen door handle if you like?! hehe!! (it's not worth the slagging!)

The leather looks good, but your rear seats look uncomfortable ... are they in the most up right position?

@Stu, you do like your leather don’t you, in cars as well ;)

@piper1st, Got my handle yesterday from HomeBase still haven’t fitted it or cleaned the leather, may get round to it tomorrow. The seats are in the right position they aren’t actually leaning on it now just got to make a block or something to support the back or it

Cheers. I was thinking stapling my Welsh flag to the cat flap (as Stu calls it) and then fitting the handle over top, but then I thought if I drive through any other countries, like England I would have my car bricked, especially so soon after the world cup
