Hello fellow wedge-a-holics,
I have recently aqquired a Nokia 7610 as my sister got an upgrade from her network. I currently have a 6230i which doesnt support the tom tom mobile gps software but this phone does (symbiant OS). Now I'm gonna swap my sim over and start using the 7610 and have ordered a bluetooth GPS thingy for £40 squids off fleabay which works with tomtom 5 mobile.
I have also obtained a copy of Tomtom 5 mobile on a cd with all the updates and the like. I also have the relevant 512mb MMC card for teh phone so will have plenty of space for it!
What I want to know is...has anyone got the tomtom mobile working on a phone and is it any good? Appparently it should run pretty good on the phone but was wondering if any of you lot had tried it?
Also will it just be a case of putting all the tomtom files from the cd onto the MMC card and whacking it in the phone and it should fire up? Or do I have to do anything specific?
Cheers in advance for any help!
Rob

Ive got TT5 on my N70 and it works exactly the same as it did on my PDA, its well handy when your useless at directions
I copied the files off the CD onto the MMC and put it straight into the phone. it doesnt need to install anything as it runs straight off the memory card. Pairing with the GPS unit is pretty simple as well and mine even works indoors

Indeed i do too. I have an SPV E200 which i unlocked to use on 02. Have tomtom 5 working perfectly on it with a £50 GPS badger from the bay. Even installed a car kit recently for the phone which needs a bit of tweaking. Drop me an im if you need some proper legit software like! I haven't managed to get newer (5.2+) versions of tomtom working on qvga smartphone yet though...
