Have you checked your bulkhead drains by your relay box and the fan inlet.
There is two rubber grommet type things. Ive just removed mine cos they allways block up.

do you have a sunroof? Is it leaking from there, from what i remember there are drains down each side and if they block the rain comes in.

The windscreenson the 480 is bonded - glued- to the bodywork. A leak anywhere on the top and that side of your screen may let water in where you describe. From the outside have a good look around the edge of the windscreen If any small areas of rust appear to go 'under' the windscreen then this could be the place you are getting a leak from. When I had my screen replaced it was awesome to see all of the areas that rust had gotten hold of the car beneath the screen and in some places had eaten all the way through to the under skin

have you tried good bathroom type, transparent UV resistant silecone on the window ? find some one who can do it neat if you cannot do it yourselves. the trick is to use as few as possible, but enough to do the job. finish your job with a wet finger with dish's soap or any other liquid soap
Yes the inside of the front window trim is the least discussed hidden weak oint of our car. I bet even the finest looking 480s have rust holes there.
I had have a window replaced by the insurance, but this is the last time: it cracked because the expanding rust broke my window.
just seal the window ot the bodywork from the outside.
