Simple Question

Everything that doesn't belong in the previous categories probably belongs here. Interiour (how are the seats mounted? how to remove the CEM?) and exteriour (how to replace the popup-lights shock absorbers or a door) are discussed here!

Simple Question

Post by VOLVO480S » Mon Dec 08, 2003 3:20 pm

To prevent my windows from becoming dirty on the inside I bought a new dust filter, --> but where is it mounted?

Anyone?

This is for a RHD car, but I checked the part numbers, and they're the same for the filter on a LHD too (although obviously they're different for other bits!)

Presumably Volvo Spares, or Euro Car Parts appear to have one for £20.95 + VAT.

one extra point of information.
You also need part number 3468926
This is an insert that is placed in the airopening in the hood to precent rain getting in the filter. Maybe the number is only for lefthand drive
so check this.
And 20 pound for the filter itself is way to expensive.
Volva asks about 22-23 euros. so a price in the region of 20 Euros for a none original filter would be acceptable.

Check scrappies for the cover, they should be the same on the 400 series.
I found one, now have to pick it up.

The dust filter is also located on the accessories page of the club's website. They were not fitted as standard, but I believe they are still for sale at the Volvo dealer.
