Front Splitter required

Everything that doesn't belong in the previous categories probably belongs here. Interiour (how are the seats mounted? how to remove the CEM?) and exteriour (how to replace the popup-lights shock absorbers or a door) are discussed here!

I believe that the Volvo ones are rather more prone to accidental damage.

I've got a composite one but getting it to fit well is proving difficult. It's much stiffer and thicker understand ably, so doesn't mould to the front bumper as well. Looking at options to mend the original, but again it's not easy.

What's the damage? I happen to be quite familiar with Volvo 480 front splitter repair for no reason in particular...

I'd say it depends - the nice thing about the Volvo ones is that being plastic they have a certain amount of flex when they hit something, whereas fibreglass tends to be more brittle and thus prone to splitting when hit, although it is probably stronger to begin with.

It has a piece about 12" missing from the centre towards one edge, and it's split the other side.

I'm sure it's fixable, so trying a few bodyshops.

As you say they Volvo splitter is much more flexible, and moulds itself to the shape of the bumper especially at the ends.

Splitters from WR are very good, they fit neatly and all the fixings match. They did the painting as well.
