seat repairs....

Everything that doesn't belong in the previous categories probably belongs here. Interiour (how are the seats mounted? how to remove the CEM?) and exteriour (how to replace the popup-lights shock absorbers or a door) are discussed here!

Post by Rachel » Sun Mar 18, 2018 2:05 pm

.....hi everyone. I really could do with having my drivers seat repaired.....its showing it's milage! Can anyone suggest a good car upholstery company who will do a good job. I'm willing to travel a reasonable distance but as close to Bucks as possible would be favourite!

We used Surrey Trimming at Virginia Water. Not cheap but very good.

Spot on - we paid £200 plus vat to have a driver's seat cover made from one tatty driver's seat and one good passenger seat from our scrap GT. They didn't have to provide the leather (we needed the right colour green) but they did have rather more work to do. They had dozens of black hides hanging on the walls, so should be able to do you a near perfect match.
