Washer jets are fragile and haven't been available to buy for some time. Well, by a stroke of luck, I've came across a Danish supplier of the jets. Volvo P/N: ‎34002215‎

I ordered these from ‎a company in Denmark who were nice to deal with. I initially wrote using Google Translate but they replied in English.  They said €14/jet when I enquired via e-mail but with postage the price ended up as £40 for two. This is steep, but to be honest I can't live without washer jets any longer and I'm a bit of a stickler for originality.

There is a slightly out of date pdf catalogue of the other480 parts they keep here, in Danish. It is very useful just for reference and tips on a few things, I imagine their online store is where things are ordered nowadays :

They have stuff in stock that I am surprised at!‎

They have some new parts and they also broke some 480s in the past, but don't get your hopes too high. They do not update the catalog for the 400 series anymore, so they don't have everything. Nevertheless, I can recommend them, because they ship very quickly and they are reliable

They are identical on 440/460 cars. Might try and grab the lot from Lake's before its too late!

Darn it as well.

Had to choose at that price. New washers.... roller load cover.... new washers... roller load cover.... new washers .... roller load cover.

Went for the load cover and hoped they would have a good supply for another day.

Oh well mine are serviceable, one clip broken on both and rubber has seen better days but work.

Does that mean that you can still find new rollers?

Mine is fine, but new is new.

New washers.... Used roller load cover...........

Cover came up on fleebay when I was contemplating ordering the washers so had to make a quick decision as both were not really an option.

I think I made the right choice as it came with brackets, works and is in very good condition.

Today I changed the ols washer jets for the new ones. Getting to a new unopened for the last 25 years part of the car is a box of surprises. The usual lots of dirt. Insects, leaves…

Removing this plastic screw-clips holding the plastic panels where the washers and wipers go is not a pleasant job. They’re in the same condition of the rest of the plastic parts of the car… I had to later replace all of them for new trim clips. You can feel the car’s plastics ruin. Bad feeling. Reminds me of why I always fear to go to unknown places of the car.
You might thing that getting to put the tubes in the washers below is a hard job. Specialy the left one above the wipers motor, but its better if you approach it by passing a wire through the hole downwards, fix it to the tube, then pull, connect and clip the washer in place.
