I think it is broken beyond repair

Everything that doesn't belong in the previous categories probably belongs here. Interiour (how are the seats mounted? how to remove the CEM?) and exteriour (how to replace the popup-lights shock absorbers or a door) are discussed here!

No wonder the door won't stay open half-way or fully opened. Not sure how I can fix this.......

It Is the plate that holds the inside hinge on the door :(
Or maybe have it welded inside?

Door off would be the starting point, just for access.

Plate over it. What colour is the car? Replacement door from the eBay?

Skip is Vase Green (vase in French means green mud by the way). Finding one and having it shipped would be something let alone respraying if necessary. I think I will shop around for a welder but not during the Summer months, I am wasting enough time as it is :)
