rubber roof gutters- how to stick?

Everything that doesn't belong in the previous categories probably belongs here. Interiour (how are the seats mounted? how to remove the CEM?) and exteriour (how to replace the popup-lights shock absorbers or a door) are discussed here!

rubber roof gutters- how to stick?

Post by timrosser » Thu Jan 14, 2016 3:06 pm

HI guys, Im thinking of swapping my rubber gutters, mine seem to have shrunk a bit and might be adding to my rear window flood problems!

Any tips about what the gutters are stuck on with and what to use to remove that and sick on a new rubber much appreciated, At the mo I'm thinking double sided mounting weather proof tape might be the way to go?

Many thanks!

Tim

Hi Tim,
I would suggest something like "Tigerseal" or similar. Used by body shops to hold trims etc on. Very strong & should fill any gaps. It's like silicone sealant, but it's a denser, thick consistency & much stronger
