Door Weather Strips

Everything that doesn't belong in the previous categories probably belongs here. Interiour (how are the seats mounted? how to remove the CEM?) and exteriour (how to replace the popup-lights shock absorbers or a door) are discussed here!

Door Weather Strips

Post by Dancing Demon » Sun Nov 30, 2014 11:07 pm

No longer available of course. It rusts and bubbles with time!

Does any one have any solutions/advice?

I recently trawled the NEC looking for similar trim but with little success apart from one stand who assure me I could get it as long as I bought 100 meters!

Many thanks

Chris

Are these the plastic coated ally strips at bottom of FRONT side windows? if so good to know :D

mine are looking a touch shabby with blistering at eac end, more so the back edge at the key, but TBH there are other 'shabbier' areas eg rear arches that will need a seeing to before next year's MoT ( I know that arches are not MoT, but if the car looks tidy, then less likely to go prodding with sharp stick  )
