Trying to replace the wire in my Window regulator

My passenger window regulator wires have given up. The motor is fine so bought some wires to replace the old frayed one. No probs getting the regulator out ( now done it 4 times ready to

!! ) but the wire just seem to unravel itself. Am I wasting my time and should buy a new regulator and if so will any other model fit my 87' ? Help please .

Hi Thank you for your reply. I have looked at the site and checked out the photos. They look different to my window regulator. I will try to sort it out ..... hopefully.
