has anyone ever peplaced their front windscreen diy. is there a how too for this. wondering if i can save some insurance excess. i think its riveted in with angle brackets. do they use silicone sealant, or some special expensive stuff.

the windscreen is secured with a special mastic the side panels are pop riveted on and do not supply much retention and are easily drilled out.

not a job for the amateur.
