Wing mirror plastic cowling.

Everything that doesn't belong in the previous categories probably belongs here. Interiour (how are the seats mounted? how to remove the CEM?) and exteriour (how to replace the popup-lights shock absorbers or a door) are discussed here!

Wing mirror plastic cowling.

Post by Tee » Wed Feb 22, 2012 1:31 pm

Hey all,

For some reason the plastic cowlings around my two wing mirrors have decided to fall apart and I need to replace. My car is a 1992 special edition with green top and grey bottom and the wing mirrors cowlings are colour coded to the green colour. Does anyone know where I might be able to get these? The mirrors seem to work just fine.

Cheers

Hi are you referring to the back colour coded covers or the black front bit that surrounds the glass if the back cover available from the main dealer comes in black plastic or grey primer around £20 aside thanks

Hiya Harriet and thanks for the reply,

The left hand one is completely gone so I need the back colour coded section. However, i think i can probably fix the one on the right hand side.

How can I order one from the main dealers, sorry to be such a noob, but I usually let the garage do this sort of thing! Also how do i get the cowling the same colour as the body work?

Cheerski and thanks in advance for any assistance!

If you are going for new, just go to the dealers parts desk& ask.

You'll have to paint/get it painted though I expect.

Which dealer? Sorry, I've never bought new parts before, except from Halfords.

A website or company name would be absolutely awesome!

Cheers
