Child Seats

Anyone have any idea of a suitable child seat for the 480. My son is 2 1/5 months...at the moment it means any driving that needs wife and son to come I have to drive our Rover. The seat in the rover shold fit all cars and uses the seatbelt to secure...the 480 seatbelts are just too short...

Anyone any experience??

Buy the safety belt extender at your volvo dealer. Although it is still a hassle, with this (expensive) piece of metal a child seat will just fit on the front seat. It does not fit on the back seats, but the advantage of that is that your child kan keep an eye on you while driving

(in a few months time we have a second hand safety belt extender for sale)

just saw original volvo 480 child seats, on the last pages of the volvo partsbook, you can dowload (huge!) at this (and mr. dragons) site. You might have a look at it.....

We actually had one of the Volvo child seats when I was younger (I used to sit on it, so I could see out of the windows!

). I seem to remember it being a "incentive gift" from Volvo when we bought the car!
