Alligning your lights

Everything that doesn't belong in the previous categories probably belongs here. Interiour (how are the seats mounted? how to remove the CEM?) and exteriour (how to replace the popup-lights shock absorbers or a door) are discussed here!

Alligning your lights

Post by red480gt » Tue Mar 02, 2004 12:17 pm

Hi all

Does anybody have the info to allign you headlights, long range and fog lights to the correct positions.

I remember my old mk2 escort haynes manual told you to park facing a wall on flat level ground and move the lights to the measurements given.

I know how to adjust them all, just dont know whre to.

There was a suggestion of putting a pair of crosshairs on a wall measured specifically using the car itself to define the distances - might be of help - can't vouch for the accuracy, but it sounds sensible enough:

Other than that, phone up your local dealer, they should be able to give you the correct measurements over the phone...

The measurements may well be in one of the downloads on my site - have a look through :)
