Aerial
My aerial has taken on a life of it's own. When I turned my radio on last night, there was no noise from the motor. Bugger - I thought the motor was broken. However, when I got home after 40 miles, I turned it on and off, on and off, on and off, and after the fourth go, the aerial went up!
This morning, when I went to work, I turned it on, and agian, the aerial would not go up. I left the radio switched on to listen to a tape. Half way to work, the stereo symbol appears, and looking in my wing mirror - the aerial has come up!
Then when I get to work and turn it off, there is no sound from the motor and it stays up! Until I get out, lock the car, and walk away. At which point the aerial goes down!
Now to me, this sounds like a duff connection somewhere. If this is the case, where is the best place to start looking?

Sounds to me like a bad connection in the switch wire which runs from your radio to the aerial. If you have checked all the connections along this route and all seems to be good. Then i would disconnect the aerial from the radio and power the arial from the aerail. If the aerial goes up then the problem is at the radio side.
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
