guys I thought the question was if kirsty should wear leather
(stupid question, next question...
i like leather. I had cloth in my 340 and it sticks and sweats.
leather lives and breathes.
but indeed its a little fresh in winter (warms up in no time)
the "tub" frorm in the seats keep me rock steady. (maybe coyote is to small for the seats) The velvet like cloth sticks you, which i fboth finf practical, but in the long run bugging
yep the leather gets very hot, BUT: the cloth is hotter in the long run! driving to monaco in one run, and your soaking wet on your back. leather doesn't this bad, because it breathes.
In summer time we layed a white old bed sheet over the seat, or park out of the sun...

Ahh,
Very interesting topic.
First thing about the leather in our cheesewedges:
A. Older 480's with full leather where in fact as Dragon says part leather part fake.
B. I believe that the newer cars from somewhere around 93' to 94' the leather cars became full leather. Not 100% but will check when my car comes back.
Secondly, the major beauty of leather and I have had it in my cars for some 8 or 9 years, is that it has the ability to keep you warm in winter and cool in summer. This is the major benefit of leather and of course a lot of animals would agree.
Now there is a problem with this and that is when you first get in the car. You either freeze or get a little hot straight away but it will not normally not take too long for this to settle down and make you feel good!!
Regards
Chris

THats true actually, they will probaly be confused because im a brunette and not a blonde lol!MatBat wrote:The inner workings of Kirsty's mind will keep even the most proficiant of Neurosurgeons occupied for weeks
i know how my mind works and thats all that matters
to clarify:
When i get rid of my car... i will probaly scrap it.... but will put in cloth seats b4....
then i can sell the few working parts and make at least some money
then i can buy a new car..... which i dont think will be a 480 unless a nice new one comes up reasonably priced
my car is very tempramental (like a pregant laydee) and sometimes messes about and sometimes dont
eg. today my car is running as sweet as a nut but yesterday it was running like a sack of shite
when i get my new car i dont know.... i need some money first but the friggin tax man keeps nicking it lol!
i will prob have my car for a good few months yet ive decided. unless i can get the money for the 440turbo before my mate does (which shouldnt b hard as he is unemployed)
