dull roof

Everything that doesn't belong in the previous categories probably belongs here. Interiour (how are the seats mounted? how to remove the CEM?) and exteriour (how to replace the popup-lights shock absorbers or a door) are discussed here!

dull roof

Post by Rachel » Mon Jul 09, 2012 10:47 am

Hi.

Although most my paint is good I do have quite a dull roof....what would be the best way to get it to shine again? I have tried paint restore stuff, but it's not good enough....I'm thinking it needs more than that. I do wonder why its gone dull too....its dark grey metallic...not usually a colour to fade I don't think :?

Any help would be great.....thanks :D

Hi Rachel , a good polish and wax should do it but if not you could try "T"cut or a G3 type cutting compound using a damp cloth .You can use a mopping machine but you have to be careful at the edges and not to dwell in one area creating too much heat .Use plenty of water !
If that does not improve the shine your paint may need looking at . :)
