Bumper removal

Everything that doesn't belong in the previous categories probably belongs here. Interiour (how are the seats mounted? how to remove the CEM?) and exteriour (how to replace the popup-lights shock absorbers or a door) are discussed here!

depends on how rusted the bolts are

this is not a silly answer

rear bumper 2 bolts each side + lighting connection easy

front a bit more work why not do it in situ.

How many bolts hold the front bumper ? The bodyshop need them removed to strip the bumpers right back due to a poor re-spray before. Thanks

Ok...

Having a slow 5 minutes at work.. so here we go..

This is from memory so usual caveats apply... If you kill yourself, your dog, your significant other... Not my fault. Info provided for entertainment only blah blah bah, at own risk, etc etc....

Front:

Raise headlights

Turn off Car

Open Bonnet

Remove indicator/sidelight units. (1 screw accessed by raising headlamps and 1 clip at rear of unit accessed with a lollypopstick)

Remove Driving lamps. By unclipping them. Withdraw and disconnect electrical connection.

Beneath car remove screws holding underside of front bumper trim to car.

In wheel arches, remove fixings securing arch liner to front bumper.

Remove 4 bumper nuts. 2 per side. Accessed thru gap left from removing
lights.

Remove bumper

Rear:

Meh... can't be arsed.. Someone else do the rear pls.
