Creaking from passenger side rear suspension area

Post by wedge69 » Thu Jun 02, 2005 7:08 am

'ello,

My car has started to groan and creak a bit when going around bends. The noise comes from the rear at the passengers side, and if you stand and push on the back corner it makes the noise.

However, I don't think it is the spring itself because it doesn't bounce. It just the car just goes down and comes back up once.

What else could it be? Are there some joints or bushes that wear out?

Cheers dudes.
That's my car up there, see?

IT could be any number of rear suspension bushes. First to go are usualy the roll bar links. They will start creaking first, then start knocking as they wear away.

Try having someone move the car while you look underneath for movement.
