More useful information: Wheel Alignment

Post by Ben Harris » Mon Oct 18, 2004 8:46 pm

As I intend to get my wheels tracked and aligned in the next couple of days, I looked up the information in the TARDIS. Aparently, the information in the service manuals is wrong, so I thought I'd post the corrected information here, in case it's of use to others:

Hm, maybe that's why Volvo couldn't get mine right after 2 attempts.... :|

whilst the rear Toe in cannot be adjusted the rear can be adjusted in terms of the wheels pointing left or right, ther trailing link on the drivers side (UK) bolts into a slot so can be loosened and adjusted to get teh rear wheels pointing straight ahead. I took my rear axle off and had to have it re-alligned and the suspension place set the rear up before doing the front. It drives straight as ever now :)
