was wondering if anyone can help me? ive got a 480 turbo which is currently being used occasionally for drag racing, its currently running good low 16's with the occasional bad run like a low 17, but as ive fitted water/methanol injection, a strate rear pipe and a boost controller the extra power is good top end once the car is moving, but its looses at least 1.5 seconds just wheel spinning, torque steering and lifting at the front uncontrolably...
(Apologise for poor pic quality)
im considering getting larger wheels and tyres to try and help gain some grip and was wondering if anyone has any experience with this? even if the wheels were slightly to large and rubbed on the arches it wudnt really matter because the car would only be used occasionally just for racing. also to compensate for the lifting at the front end would lowering springs help at all?...remember here tho that im on a budget but frankly any comments or experiences would be great! many thanks ...
tom

Re: Need urgent wheel & suspension advice!
I see main problem of 480 traction on the photo.
Did you lowered the suspension? Is it stiffered?
I have yellow dampers in my Turbo and result is quite good.
