Max wheel size?
Just wondering..what do you think is the widest wheel size you could fit in those arches before they started to rub under full lock?
I'd quite like a nice fat set of 215's to fill the arches out a lil better as my 185s are just too skinny..!

they look really awesome Anton, they fill the arches nicely! I'll be changing the wheels for 16/17's I think, and lower profile tyres also, but the width looks really good! I love a bit of girth

No you won't it's car dependant, i never had any rubbing at all even though i know Ed did after he bought them.chris1roll wrote:Its not so much the front wheels to worry about, as the back ones.... you will get rubbing on the back with 205-45/16's

Yes, and Edd and 98Kellrs both have 1992 Paris Blue ES's.Jamo wrote:No you won't it's car dependant, i never had any rubbing at all even though i know Ed did after he bought them.chris1roll wrote:Its not so much the front wheels to worry about, as the back ones.... you will get rubbing on the back with 205-45/16's
So on the balance of possibilty, considering mine rubbed with 15's on, and I have seen evidence of slight rubbing on cars with standard wheels on (this is why they changed the shape and design of the rollover valve in the drivers rear wheel arch for the 15" wheels) I would say he will.

Are the tracks different on the turbo and ES models?

Re: Max wheel size?
Depends on the brakes you got on the front. The first 14" Pollux rims don't fit the later models with the vented disks.

Re: Max wheel size?
Wait, let me see if I got this straight:
Pollux 6J x 14'' = good for ventilated discs?
Pollux 5,5J x 14'' = no good for ventilated discs?
Pollux 6J x 14'' = good for ventilated discs?
Pollux 5,5J x 14'' = no good for ventilated discs?
