Tyre removal?

Post by guitarcarfanatic » Thu Sep 21, 2006 6:05 pm

Hi,

I am removing some tyres off a set of alloys so they can be posted. can I just cut the old tyres off or will I need to take them to a tyre garage?

Any advice greatly appreciated,

They are tougher than you think. Angle grinder would do it, but you might make a mess.

Done it with tyre levers before, but you wouldn't do that on alloys, theyd be werecked!

To be honest, any good local garage should do them for free, especially if you drop a hint about fitting new tyres in a couple of weeks. ;)
