Pulling to the Left

Post by Big Brother » Wed Jan 11, 2006 10:07 pm

The Celeb is still pulling to the left despite me having the tracking done at 3 different garages over the last 6 months, I haven’t cerbed it at all. JT mentioned in another thread to get the tracking do after having brushes changed, can worn brushes be contribute to this?

Just a thought

Bushes, worn steering rack, wheel balancing, even just incorrect tyre pressure can all contribute to pulling, as could some defect in the track rods (although I'd hope someone would spot that when doing the tracking), damage to wishbone, worn shocks, worn springs - all these can contribute to pulling...

They will pull to the left as the Panhard Road at the rear makes it do so.It would pull to the right if it was mounted in the opposite way. This is regardless of everything up front being correctly set.Hundreds of pounds later I discovered this from Chris/Rich.

Your missing the most common cause.

Although I'm sure you've checked already. Tyre pressure!
