Brand new Non-power steering rack.

Post by MatBat » Mon Jul 18, 2005 3:33 pm

Well, tomorrow I pick up my new steering rack, I have decided I'm going to swap to not having power steering. I hardly ever drive in town and find power steering lacks the feel that a manual rack gives, not to mention it's one less thing for the engine to drive. I'll let you know how it goes.

Wouldn't fancy it myself... I loves having power steering, but can see what you are after. Enjoy parking!

Well, today I fitted the new rack, steering is far more direct, and at parking speeds not too heavy at all.
