These are one of my all time favourite Volvo wheels. They look gorgeous on 700/900 series cars. I don't think they will fit your 480, I think the studs (or whachamacallit) are different...

I like them too! They are lovely! I think that all 700/900series have 5 screw so they won't fit but maybe whole braking discs and clipers will fit? It can be worth changing.

There are very similar alloys in Renault 5 GTE and GTT. They will fit for sure! But it's hard to get them.

I thought it would be easy to get R5 alloys as they all want to put massive 17-18"s on them :D

Standard R5 alloys are 13" and wont fit the 480 as they wont clear the brake calipers.

A while ago I looked into getting those 700/900 wheels (Hydra) on my 480, but they wont' fit. :(

those have a boltpattern of 5x108 instead of 4x100 also the ET value is very different. You'll need some boltpattern-changing-disks, due to those and the very different ET value those wheel will stick out of the wheelarches............

But in GT Turbo or in GTE there are 14 so they should fit.

Nope, all R5 GT came with 13" phase 1 and phase 2.

the Renault 9 and Renault 11 had 14" alloys.

You can check the renault website or go to www.rtoc.org to check.

GTE might have had 14" but it's not a straight fit.

The Renault has a centre bore of 60 and the Volvo 480 a centre bore of 52 so sprig got rings would be required.

Yes strange size, so strange only about 3 tyre manufacturors still make tyres in the correct size for them.

Was it the R5 Turbo that had alloys they'd anodized so much the tyres would slip round the wheels under heavy braking?
Don't know where I heard that!?
