What about this bilstein kit

Post by forkinthroat » Thu Apr 07, 2005 6:10 pm

hi

i will need to replace my shocks soon, i came across with this lowering kit

it says for 440/460 but aren't they all the same?

anyways, i'm mind-opened to any good sugestions on replacing the shocks.
i've just asked for prices, and for the sachs front shocks, 108€ (must be around 75£) EACH.. rear ones for 70€ EACH... errr, i don't think so...

From the site
Consists of four Bilstein Standard replacement Dampers and four lowering springs.
well it's standard bilstein shocks from what I can see. The picture is not standard but maybe it's wrong?

give them a call or just lower with standards/pi 40mm springs.

or give a call

OK just looked again

sounds good doesn't it? i don't want to lower it 40mm. besides the look and hard ride, the police is on to this kind of changes. sadly this is the law. the IPO (= MOT) is also being very hard with tuned cars.

so the 30mm or 25 would be just perfect. anyway, this is going to take a couple of months. first, the brakes and IPO. going to the vented ones..
