Anyone managed to fit 8" wheels?

Been looking at getting some new wheels and found a nice set but there 8" wide and didn't know if anyone's tried to fit any this big? Would love to know specs and see pictures if so!

I don't think the size of the alloys would be the problem, but more the tyres you would mount on them. I read a while back on here that anything more than a 205mm width tyre is potentially going to rub against the body on full lock. Remember that the stud pattern is 4x100 when looking at wheels

Well I am looking at getting some coilovers so I don't think the 40mm lowering springs are low enough so I thought they might be a issue there
But wouldn't low profile tires sort the rubbing issue? :O
& Been hunting all over for a nice set that are 4x100 that aren't like 10"

i run 16x7.5" wheels ET 38 with a 205x45x16 on it and I'm lowered on coilovers proabbly around 50mm from standard?
without coilovers and springs at correct rate you will rub on the rear arches much lower than i am sitting, also on the front you will need a minimum 4mm spacer with this set up to push the track out a little as my tyres would just touch the adjuster ring for front spring height

Didn't even think about needing spacers, thanks for the info! Just realized your car! It's actually the one that got me wanting a 480 in the first place!

Hey,
regarding the front spacers, you'll only need that on coilovers, i think if you were on normal springs be ok! since the spring cup sits above the wheel on a standard set up if you know what i mean?

I have 15x8 et 18 or 16 steel rims 195/50/15 ps3 tires and KAW lowering springs. In the front there is no rubbing at all full lock is as normal, there is about 15mm gap for the "fitment" to be flush while in the back I had to roll the fenders because when going over speedbumps or if I had someone in the back the tires started to cut themselves.

Well the rears I only rolled them to a V shape, I didn't fold them completely, so i will need to do it better. Using a heat gun and patience no paint chipped or cracked
