think it tells you in HBOL how to check them, i cant check at the moment but off the top of my head i remember something about putting a leverage (crow) bar between the ARB and the body and levering, watching (of course) to see how much the ARB moves! :D

Cheers Paulo. The way you learn at college then!Hey,seeing your enjoying the springs so much,it may be worth checking yours.I say this as the stresses that go on the bottom wishbones and engine mounts etc are higher with it harder.I guess the ARB takes a good old hammering too eh?I love hammering don't you mate?!!!!! ;) :D

I think you're right there CatGroom - I replaced the Anti-Roll-Bar links at the same time as fitting my lowering springs (also replaced the shocks, top-mounts and lower bearings), but I didn't replace the wishbone bushes. Now, 1 year later, they're incredibly worn (they were fine before lowering), and will be replaced very soon (when I get round to it)!

On my car it was the top shock mounting plates that had quit. First a good 5 mm of travel, then contact steel on steel at every bumb. Could actually be suspected by the way the shock mounts looked from the top, but real proof came with disassembly.
