HI All,

My 480 sometimes has a good old wheese when I pull up onto a curb or make a slow tight turn, the springs and shocks are all under two years old, are there any other suspension componets to change? Or are there any other theorys?

Thanks guys

If you mean it makes the noise as you turn the wheel, then that points to the top mount bearings.

Can you tell where the noise is coming from? Front, back??

I had a creaking when pulling up on kurbs, I eventually realised it was the bump stops at the back straining under the pressure ;)

I think when Im making a turn then I would say front, but I'm sure I hear the rear gumbling too when I go over a curb or bump- im not familar with top mount bearings, I need to get on an auto course!

How are the pocket speakers coming along?

Not fitted them yet!

The bearing basically turns with the suspension strut.
After years of abuse they chew themselves to bits!
