wheel bearings

i've got a weird sound that i think is comming from the rear of my 480 gt , comes on at around 50 mph & seems to get louder the faster i go . sound like wheel bearings.
or could it be gearbox ??? help /advice please :(

Erm... The gearbox is at the front, so the noise would be coming from there if so. ;)

Rear wheel bearings do start to hum, mine did, getting slightly louder when turning (when the weight transfers to the appropriate wheel)

Also worth checking for siezed rear calipers :)
