Does your 480 have tracking-problems? Does your car pull to one side? Or is your steering wheel vibrating? Read the posts in this category to find out what's going on.

I have a Q about the shorter steering column is this a suitable mod for the 2.0L (I've been told the rack is different ) I have a momo under the stairs and have been trying to trace a boss kit for the 95 2.0L with srs
(no luck so far) perhaps this might be the answer??

We can probably sort you out a earlier type column, and fit it for you if you like jaytee? then you can use the normal boss.

Yup, Insurers would want to know, basically the car is now less safe than factory specifications.

As for 10 years becoming 15, does anyone know when this came into force? My S40 still mentions 10 years on the door sills for all of the 7 Airbags in the car and it's only 4 1/2 years old?

Is there really a chance the airbag could just go off randomly? I know the used car market was different ten years back, but surley if people are expected to replace important saftey systems like this then garages should be legislated to charge reasonable costs for the work. Seriously can an Airbag really cost more than a few hundred pounds? And is replacing or servicing it more than a couple hours labour.

I always worried about it not working when needed rather than malfunctioning, but then I can't justify £2k on a car worth less than £1k to have the work done, pretty much like everyone else I expect?

A Q about the shorter steering column..I have a 2.0l GT with srs airbag and a palm beach wheel with orig. adapter waiting to be fitted.
