My Turbo is pulling to the left-Help!

Post by catgroom » Sat Feb 21, 2004 10:12 pm

I recently fitted the Bilstein uprating spring/shock kit to my '95 480 Turbo Auto. All was well for the first 2 weeks then, after having the tracking set up,then re-adjusted after 500 miles, the car pulls irritatingly to the left. This happens even when the road is on a positive camber! What could this be?Wheel bearing? Please,I dont want to hear that!Would a track rod end have given in?!Its not leaking at all and the rubber looks dry.

It could be a host of things:

Uneven tyre pressures

Worn trackrod ends (steering would feel vague)

Brake binding

Perhaps the shocks are still bedding in.
