Vesa wheels (480GT)

Post by jamescarruthers » Fri Apr 09, 2010 11:52 am

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is naughty to post in two sections but I thought I'd pop my wheel troubles here too just incase someone can help me.

Basically I've just got some great Vesa wheels that were originally fitted to the 480GT for my turbo but no centre caps. Volvo don't stock them anymore!

Does anyone know if old Volvo stock has been sold elsewhere.

In the unlikely event of someone having a set, please see my original posting in Parts wanted.

Got some but had to pay £15/wheel. Rather extortionate but I suppose there were only ever 250 sets brought into the country so I was the captive market due to their rarity.

All set, will install on car tommorow. Out of pocket but happy (a common 480 problem).

Sorry, I've bought the last seven a few months ago. They came from like seven different country's in Europe, I had to wait for more then two months to have all seven complete!

But you can find the Vesa centre caps on a few other types of original Volvo wheels like Pollux and Atlas.
