Odd 'clunk' from passanger side front wheel area...

Post by suddy » Mon Dec 10, 2007 10:09 pm

I did my wishbones as per previous thread, there was a clunking noise from the front nearside whenever I came out of full left lock.

Got underneath it to find that the wishbone to subframe bolts were loose!
I tightened them up and the 'clunk' went away.

My problem is, it occasionally still does it when I come out of either lock. It's not a big problem yet, but what do you lot reckon it is?

erm...don't think so, I've been underneath it with the front wheels raised and tried to wiggle stuff about as best I can -- seems ok, which is why i think it's odd..

It's as if the wheel skids momentarily which i can feel through the car.

Moving it by hand wont do nothing. It's gotta be driving.

Mine feels like it slids on turning left.
