help with sub frame

help with sub frame

Hi I have just bought an otherwise fantastic 480 but alas the sub frame is in a dire state can anyone give me tips on how to locate one have had no joy in last four weeks. and may now have to break car for spares. It is a 1994 turbo. Any help on this would be great

salvo stocks subframes and have 4 on the shelf to which i know about.

Breaking the 480 for the sake of a knackard subframe seems a bit daft. Can we have some details of the car

The car is a 1994 manual turbo model im based in morayshire which seems to be bit thin on the ground with spares for 480 s the best I have come up with is a genuine new part from Sweden at £700 bit steep I rekon. I know it sounds a bit drastic to scrap but I don`t have space for another longterm project and it seems very difficult to find out if one from another model can be adapted for use as the engine mounts seem quiet different on all the other types, unless I have missed one. I will hang on to it for another month or so and after that will have to break for spares so anyone needing bits get in touch.

tomorrow i'm throwing away a mint condition subframe which has been painted with 3 coats of zink then sprayed with black paint. zero rust and perfect subframe.

It's 480 auto early type mount.

Skip tomorrow lunch time. Shame really.

The a guy at a breakers yard in edinburgh with one for £100 removed. If you want the number yiu can call me on 07803019376 . HTH, Lee. i found they did black and grey and man and autos. i think you will need a black one. :)
