Ok, I did use the search function but still no final info on what size does fit aur beloved 480. As I'm looking for 15" not 16 or 17, but 15". The main info needed is how wide and the ET of the rims max that don't rub. even on agressive driving. As the stock rims are 5,5" and 6" wide with ET 32 or something like that. Can I use anything wider or with a different ET. + what size tyres to use on them.?

I've got some 15" ET28 that I'll try fitting 205/50s to, fingers crossed it'll fit

If you want to be the srub radius the same then you will need the std ET no matter how wide the wheels are. This can offcourse give clearance issues with wider wheels.

I did read a while ago that someone (blue hausser, Borbet A) had 9J wide rear tires with ET15.

An option is to get the widest wheels with the lowest offset. Put spacers on them to fit and to keep the scrub radius in proportion.

I dont think a 480 with an ET of 33 or lower(std is ET38/40) will drive/ steer nice.

I'm thinking of stock ET or around that, the main issue is the with 6" I know fits, but how about 6,5" or 7". I have a problem, that proper grip tyres are all made in the size that fit 6,5" or 7" wheels. And running a 195/50/R15 on 5,5" wide wheels just gives a odd slipping.
