Ball joint / track rod end seperator

Post by pol » Mon May 07, 2007 6:20 pm

Hi,

What do people use for a Ball joint / track rod end seperator?

I run in to problems every time and end up wrecking a track rod end. On side usually comes off ok, the other is an absolute arse! This time i'm replacing.

I have a couple of different tools, one like this Imageand one like this Image
Neither work well and usually break either mangle the top of the thread / nut or rip the rubber seal.

What works for others?
