Hiya all,
I'm currently replacing the front subframe on my 480 celebration (nightmare! haha). I want to send the new subframe, plus other items to be acid stripped and then dip coated. Problem is i want to keep the 4 original bushes ( which i presume are pressed in?). Does anyone have any experience in removing and replacing these without damaging the subframe or bushes themselves?
Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Alex.

Very firmly so, yes.
TBH mate a bit of a wirebrush and two layers of hammerite will do the job just fine!!

Thank you for your feedback. Just gonna have the wishbones treated, which leads to a second question. Does the orientation of the wishbone bushes matter? It doesn't lok like there is any difference between the top and bottom?
Alex.

They are timed in an angular sence by lugs, but are symmetrical top/bottom, if that makes sence.
