i have replace the washers on the powersteering pump/top pipe about 4 times, each with two new washers.

arrowed in the picture.

it keeps on leaking..

so, how tight can i do this bolt up without breaking the top pipe connector? according to form this top pipe is sold as one part#, and perhpas doing it up too tight might cause it to break and buy that turbo.

so how tight should it go? its prettey tight already you see

It's a banjo bolt, undo and replace the copper washer.

I have done this a few times already, there were 2 washers on there each side of the top pipe, where it meets the bolt.

Some people have said that I don't need one on the bottom of the bolt/top pipe (PS pump side) so i'll give this a go when i've got a minuite spare at work...

Tried with a torque wrench Suddy? Shouldn't need to on that, but wouldn't do any harm (and you wouldn't have to be afraid of overtightning then either)?

There is one washer top and bottom.

I tightend it as tight as i could get it this afternoon, so we'll see if there are any morn problems.
