What offset for 16" or 17" alloys?

Does your 480 have tracking-problems? Does your car pull to one side? Or is your steering wheel vibrating? Read the posts in this category to find out what's going on.

What offset for 16" or 17" alloys?

Post by DaKyy » Wed Jul 05, 2006 8:21 pm

The project car will be lowered about 30mm so what would be the correct ET for the alloys? Will 17" even fit? If anyone has 16" or 17" on their 480, please share your experience, I know you're out there :)

Look up previous post on this. You may get away with very little scrubbage if you use very low profile tyres on 17's, I wouldn't go any bigger than 16's personally.

Scrubbing wont happed in you use 205 width tyres if you get a large J wheel and try and use 215 or 225 width tyres then your buggered.

Mine is ES, I read about that though, might be some difference in model years?
