Where can i find a set of bushes for the rear end ?

Does your 480 have tracking-problems? Does your car pull to one side? Or is your steering wheel vibrating? Read the posts in this category to find out what's going on.

Where can i find a set of bushes for the rear end ?

Post by Amonra » Thu May 25, 2006 11:59 pm

I hear you guys are mostly happy about the 480 handling but it is not so with mine. she looses her grip from the rear sometimes and leans a lot in corners so im guessing that my bushes are worn.

So where can i find a complete set of bushes for all four wheels ?
it must be someone that will ship to Malta ( preferably cheap shipping costs too )
hat would be the approximate cost fo the entire set ?

Thanks

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VOLVO-440-460-480 ... dZViewItem LEFT SIDE

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VOLVO-440-460-480 ... dZViewItem RIGHT SIDE

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Volvo-440-460-480 ... dZViewItem State what side you want

Trust me mate, YOU WILL need new front wish bone bushes (auto and manual wishbones are not the same!)

also try www.eurocarparts.com and www.gsfcarparts.com

No.13 - 3411805-9 - Bushing - 2pcs.

Did I miss anything?
Am i going to need all of these, or are some of them not generally required ?
If not all of the above is required which will i need ?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I don't know if you will at all- that's just a lot of part numbers but no real descriptions of the parts.
I would take Martins advice to begin with (new shocks, front wishbone bushes, front and rear droplinks) and see how the car feels after that.
It may be enough for you, it may not.
If not, you can then go on to replacing various other bits!

Do what I said or get under your car and have a look for worn bushes.

there look cracked if faulty

new shocks and wishbone bushes will make the car sooooooooo much better

it seems like a fair price or did i overpay ?

The good thing about this seller is that he has original volvo part numbers for reference so i knew exactly what i was buying and made sure it was correct

Not so sure, as they are producers. I think that on partsforvolvo.com they have scantech products so ask them if they can have more parts.
