Does anyone have a press for new bush fitting???

Post by catgroom » Wed May 10, 2006 7:37 pm

I'm totally rebushing my rear axle atthe end of this month.

So,I need a press!

I'll be changing the anti roll bar links and bushes without the need for one.Its the trailing arm, radius arm and Panhard Rod bushes that will require the pressure method!

Help much appreciated and shown by waving cash about! My rear axle is floating around on corners like an old Cortina with the void bushes shot!

:D

JT's tip of using a standard bench vice worked a treat when I did the front wishbone bushes Groomiester. As long as the jaws open wide enough should do the trick.
